Exterior Painting

There are several steps to follow when painting the exterior of a house:

Preparing the surface: We start by inspecting the exterior of your house for any damage or imperfections that need to be repaired. Fill any holes, cracks, or dents with spackling compound or wood filler, and sand the surface smooth.

Protect windows, doors, and other surfaces: We cover windows, doors, and other surfaces with plastic sheeting or drop cloths to protect them from paint splatters.

Remove any old paint: If the surface has old paint on it, we use a paint scraper or sandpaper to remove as much of it as possible.

Clean the surface: Wash the surface with a pressure washer or a mixture of warm water and mild detergent. This will remove dirt, dust, and other debris that could affect the adhesion of the new paint.

Prime the surface: Use a primer designed for exterior use to seal the surface and provide a good base for the new paint.

Paint the surface: We use a high-quality exterior paint and a paintbrush or roller to apply the paint in thin, even layers. and allow the paint to dry completely between coats.

Clean up: When we are finished painting, we remove any plastic sheeting or drop cloths, and clean up any paint drips or spills.

By following these steps, we can help ensure that the exterior of your house is properly prepared and painted, resulting in a long-lasting, attractive finish.
